This is a letter of recommendation for David Massingill from NAMI Clark County.  

NAMI Clark County is a volunteer driven non-profit organization located in Vancouver, Washington. We work on behalf of people who have a mental illness and their families by providing activities such as classes for families, support groups, crisis intervention training for law enforcement and public education events. We also participate in anti-stigma activities and serve as a voice of advocacy for issues involving people affected by mental illnesses. And, we put on a very special event during the winter holiday season to honor people who have a mental illness and their families. There are many financial barriers for the population we serve; therefore NAMI does not charged for participation in our activities. Because of this, donations and fundraising are critical to our programs.

David Massingill has been a pillar of support for NAMI for the past four years. He has helped us with fundraising through a variety of ways.   He has tapped in to his business connections to open up funding events.   He has donated items for prizes which we could raise funds around. He has donated and gotten us fabulous discounts on many gift items that were given as gifts during our special event.

Beyond the financial assistance, David has brought us the gift of a dedicated volunteer.   He creatively helped us with ideas and resources, and, he was responsive and dependable.   It is a joy for our organization to have a person of integrity working with us and to know he will follow through with what he has said he will do.

We appreciated David's help and generosity and are pleased to write this letter reporting his character and his activities on our behalf.
